SACHA is a sexual assault center located in Hamilton, Ontario that serves sexual assault survivors in need, while working to end violence in the community.
Statistics Provided by SACHA:
- 1 in 3 women will experience some sort of sexual violence in their lifetime
- 1 in 6 men will experience some sort of sexual violence in their lifetime
- Only 5% of survivors report their assault to the police

SACHA and the City of Hamilton’s Alcohol, Drug, and Gambling Services run an open group for women who have suffered from substance abuse as a result of their sexual assault. The group meets once a week in Hamilton.
